Hello,

I uploaded my sNews content to server and everything works fine except administration page.
I can open every article, category, login page but when it goes to administration page it gets me error Requested contents could not be found. Please go back or use the search feature.

I tried everything found on this forum but not working.
Host is GoDaddy.

How can i solve this?
Thanks.

If you haven't done so yet, please run through the Possible Problems & Solutions in our Help > FAQ area.

I have no experience with "GoDaddy".
1.  Do they provide you with a C-Panel account, with access to phpMyAdmin (for database administration)?
2.  Have you installed your sNews files and folders directly into the domain root... usually the public_html directory... or
     ... are they in a folder of their own within that directory?
3)  Can you provide us with a URL to the installation on your domain?

I'm not sure exactly how GoDaddy behaves, but some hosts require that you use a specific prefix on the db name and db username variables -- that may be something to look into
Code: [Select]
//CONFIGURATION VARIABLES
$dbname = 'hostpref_dbname';
$dbuname = 'hostpref_dbuser';
where "hostpref" usually equals your hosting account username or something like that.

Another thing to try if you haven't already is to check the .htaccess file's RewriteBase line. If it says
Code: [Select]
#RewriteBase /sNews17
try this:
Code: [Select]
RewriteBase /
That's all I have to offer.

I tried all of the yours solutions but with no help.

Finally I reinstalled database several times with default one, and guess what, it worked.

I don't know why this happened but now all working fine.

Thank you for all your help!
