It's the best thing since, um, apple pie? Just remember to always check the license restrictions for the font you intend to use, because even free fonts have restrictions for use-on-the-web.
FontSquirrel has readymade kits, with verified licenses (according to FS). You may also want to check services like
Kernest and
Typekit which exist to take the hassle out of the licensing/usage mess.
