Hi and welcome Klicker... could you please explain further what you're after... I don't get it. (Maybe someone else will)

Thanks :-)

I want a "social bookmarking" in snews.

Because I need something like

Quote
echo $url;

in the index.php.

Thank you!

Hi again... Well, I don't know your experience with PHP and coding in general, but a social bookmarking MOD is available, though for 1.5 but I think it's working for 1.6 aswell (thought's lads ?). I have seen it incorporated into 1.6 test sites, so...

Cool one... but an external service... and not automatic added to an article in snews.

Edit: Updated the MOD above with validated code on page 4

Well if you insert into the right place in the center function then you got this:

- reduce the trafic volume (let's say you will drop Mika's mod, saving some bites :P)

Code: [Select]
echo '<div align="right"><a href="http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php" onclick="window.open(\'http://www.addthis.com/bookmark.php?wt=nw&pub=henrich&url=\'+encodeURIComponent(location.href)+\'&title=\'+encodeURIComponent(document.title), \'addthis\', \'scrollbars=yes,menubar=no,width=620,height=520,resizable=yes,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no,screenX=200,screenY=100,left=200,top=100\'); return false;" title="Bookmark using any bookmark manager!" target="_blank"><img src="http://s9.addthis.com/button0-bm.gif" width="83" height="16" border="0" alt="AddThis Social Bookmark Button" /></a></div>';

Put this code (your's will be a little bit different, get it from addthis.com !!!) above the pagination section and you will have it inside all the articles, individual view.

No, you need to click on an article, you will see under the Yahoo! and mail icons, but you can put anywhere.

P.S.: I sent you a private message with something else :)
