Winning a Z-28 Camaro
« on: September 23, 2007, 10:01:41 pm »

I just had a call from my old band-mate Johnny O'B. They played a gig in my old home-town last night and he lost his voice by the end of the night. But he'd bought a ticket on a raffle before the gig started and... he was left speechless in more ways than one. His ticket was drawn as the winner at midnight. The prize... a 100% restored mid-1980s Z-28 Camaro. While this picture doesn't do it justice... taken before the frame-off restoration was completed... it does make your mouth water if you're into north american muscle cars. It came complete with a brand-new crate LT-1 engine, tuned and hopped to perfection. This is the first thing Johnny has won in 35 years. Oddly enough... it's up for sale now... he really doesn't want it.
