Disable Login
« on: September 21, 2007, 12:39:56 am »

Hello Guys

I have somewhat different question that all the "cant login" posts.

What I want to do is to remove or disable the login for admin so that I don't need to login.

The reason for this is that I have separate public and admin sections where the admin section is under a protected folder.

While there are different public areas the admin sections for them are linked together within the same protected directory so that I can easily move between the different admin sections.

Works great but would work much better if I don't have to login each time.

you may be able to remove all "If Logged in" statements, so that all admin functions will show up even if youre not logged in

Heres the statement I would search for
Code: [Select]
$_SESSION[db('website').'Logged_In'] == token()
The problem is that the admin functions are delivered in the same area (and function) the articles are delivered in.  Therefore, unless you've modularized sNews, you cant just stick admin functions in the protected directory without restricting access to the rest of the site.
