One of the great features that sNews will have is settings. Now, the fun part of it is that you can add whatever you want in the settings table in the database without having to add tables or making any changes. That is the thing I was looking for to add some space for people who want to make their own mods. If your addon needs any information stored in the database, now it's a piece of cake...  ;D

Sound great when you say it. I'll have to see it to remotely understand, though ;)

Yeah but I removed it though  ;D

This release won't have it's settings in the database, cause you still need to enter some configuration data into snews.php file itself. However, there are some extra options for you at the top of the file...

Why did you specifically decide to not have it in this version? Just not enough time before the release?

Well I'll not have the time to fix all the vurnerabillity issues, and I have to release it.

I've thrown in some other settings variables at the top, and this way it works just fine.

The other thing with it is that it connects to the database every time and extracts the settings data which is kinda slowing it down. There will be option to include other php files so it'll be easy to include modes..
