Hehe, hard call posting this baby here, as it's hardly called "art". but nev'theless, I'm picking up on Ps again after not using it for a coupla of years, and started out playing some during lunch hour, so... I ended up with a desktop that is... fairly good. I know there are things to improve upon, but in this piece I was aiming for the smoke... so don't mind the text or anything, hehe... How about that smoke ? Is that ok ?

Excellent smoke Patric... and the small flames on the text are quite realistic too.
If I could make one suggestion... try to get the smoke to hover lower above the "sNews" line to reduce a lot of the overhead height. The overall image would need to be much lower height-wise for practical application. Unless... Ohhh... could the whole image be done with a transparent background so that it could be used as a background image on any body background color? And... perhaps... one would be able to take the image into their image editor and play with the image transparency to fade it and use it as an overall background image in the body... hmmm.

There is no smoke. Only little flames.
I have changed the gamma settings on my desktop (windows), but I still don't see smoke.
Have you been smoking? Again?

I can see the smoke now. I had to close the curtains (I am serious now). But you really have to know it is there.
For my screen is a bit to subtle. I am using a crt screen and windows.
