hey all

on my snews hebrew web site  http://snewsheb.cms-zen.com  there is the new_comments function and i notice that
on the links there is a "?" question mark.
look at this:


when i try to validate the page at w3c i get the following error:

Sorry, I am unable to validate this document because on line 87  it contained one or more bytes that I cannot interpret as utf-8  (in other words, the bytes found are not valid values in the specified Character Encoding). Please check both the content of the file and the character encoding indication.

i get that "?" mark when i view the page with browsers, IE, FF ( pc, mac ), on safari (mac) no problem.


one more thing with the comments is:
after clicking on link to comments (menu - new_comments )
in the page url i get those characters:


any ideas ?

I had similar problem (unresolved as such) with stock snews module: new_comments() garbles last character - 1.5.31.

Finally, I replaced plain chopping of text at certain length with chopping at the nearest end of word.
