Help-ideas on a blog-like template!? (not relevant with snews)
« on: February 07, 2006, 05:12:13 am »

Since I know that many ppl in here have an excellent taste on web-designs, user-friendlyness and also are extremely good with css, I'd like to ask who ever has some free time to help me make a design for something I'm trying to build... :/

I need something clean, slick, eye-catching...
The colors most likely will follow the latest fashion? (Dark blue-grey, Bright orange, Grass-green and white)
Some round corners, bold letters, verdana and maybe geneva (or arial)?

the layout is something like a blog... posts, archive, comments, links.

allowed: CSS2/3, hacks allowed, javascript, ajax, heavy graphics.

I don't ask you start designing stuff for me... Just want your ideas, your thoughs and opinions...
What you like seeing on blog-like sites, what you don't...
What you see every day, what you never see... ^_^

I really appreciate any help you could give me...
tnx

And how I feel like I'm starless, I'm hopeless and greyed out.

About the colors and graphics, what kinda guy are you? Some like embossed or extruded graphics, some prefer vector-like or flat images (like me).

You know what would i do?

I would arrange articles to show titles and some text. Below that I would make a link that would deploy to a box that shows the 'read more', 'comments', 'category' and some other info about the article.

I don't know why but I have a strong urge to make a site that uses some kind of inovative navigation. It could use AJAX.

Actually I'm working on one...
