Ver 1.4 handling CSS ??
« on: January 25, 2006, 12:54:21 pm »

Kind of an obscure question here... All the "folders" that seem to be "created"...Eh, I don't know how to ask, since I do not quite understand the PHP behind it all...Alright. When, in 1.4, clicking on contact I get directed to url/contact/ and then clicking home I get directed back to url/, right... It seems to me that I go to some fictive folder containing contact in this case. Is that in any way right ? If the case is such, do all those fictive folders get their CSS formatting from where it's supposed to ? I mean instead of the link being images/style.css it should then read ../images/style.css...Am I being a total dumb-"rear end of a man" (minding the language, bryn ;)) here or what ?

God, I don't know what I mean here ;). Ok, I have this styledeclaration, hover-ishing things, done to for instance to sNews designs-link on http://p-ahlqvist.com/sNews/patric_8/home/snews-designs/ that do not work (the declaration is .insert). It worked perfectly in ver 1.3 (http://p-ahlqvist.com/sNews/patric_4/index.php?id=5) and I was wondering what I could do 'bout that... I feel it's somehow connected to the version of the script, or... ??

Any thought's here, please - Patric.

With v1.4 test 1 and 2 you had to define your route to style.css. Like this: http://www.solucija.com/images/style.css .
And there's no problem with that.

Now I've added a base dir to the title function and you don't have to define path to all links, images and stylesheet.

Just images/stylesheet.css would do. Or login/ is a link to login from wherever you are.

The CSS definition in the head is a full url. So, the dilemma I'm in here hasn't got anything to do with this, then...Mhm... I've styled it the same way as in patric_4, with the same declarations...so I don't get it.

I even tried to increase the border size on the images to 10 px just for the "a-really-hot-place-where-the-opposite-of-God-resides" of it, but nothing happened... OK, so I have to go checkie ;).

Base dir seems good. And what it do, hehe... It took me some consideration to understand why I couldn't access login from other places than the root, hehe... But then again it was late at night ;)
