I just installed version 1.5, and everything seems fine till I login.  It tries to find a login dir, that does not exsit.  I have read through a lot of these posts, comparing to other ppls issues, and still no luck.

When I run this http://yoursite/index.php?action=login ... I can log in, but after that, nothing works.

I am running 2.4.27-2-386 Debian, apache, mysql, php.

all files look fine and configured correctly snews.php, index.php, and .htaccess

I also checked my modules.conf, and rewrite is on.

Please help.. I want to play with this real bad.

Thanks in advance

Rocco

Hello Rocco and welcome to our sNews community!  :D (Never I've say this before...  :P )
Well. If you can access via http://yoursite/index.php?action=login obviously your problem is .htaccess file. Maybe
your RewriteBase don't point to the correct folder or is not recognized by Apache. Try a search into this forum about htaccess and check this tread, too, for possible another issue http://www.solucija.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=9802#p9802.
Thanks,
bram.

Thanks! I was just missing my .htaccess file. I guess I missed that when moving everything out of the sNews directory to the httpdocs directiory.
