Editing an existing article - clicking break button
« on: December 08, 2006, 02:07:40 am »

Hi Everyone,

I've noticed that if you use the button to enter BR's into an existing article, it does not insert them at the cursor postion but at the end of the text...

So I find I have to manually type the breaks in.

Tested in both IE7 & FF2

Kind Regards, Dave Porter

p.s. just for clarification - I mean the [ BR ] button not the [ Break ] button !

Yes - that's how all of the tag insert functions work, and they've been that way since the first test version. I think we're expected to be using the tag functions as we are typing the text in... not after we're done with the text. Still - it's not a big deal to copy from the bottom and paste elsewhere. You can do that with your image tag-set once you have it in place, then the image will be wherever you want it to be in the text.
Do it now... later may not come.
