CSS - debugging possibility ;)
« on: January 19, 2006, 09:37:52 am »

Hey, I've got one of those "stare myself blind" kind of thingies going here... I've solved everything else I think, but minor details.
This thing, however, eludes me ;).

Page: http://p-ahlqvist.com/sNews/patric_8/
In IE it's placed as I want it, but more importantly it's not positioned as I want it in Firefox. The content should be margined 0 as in - "positioned at the top". But it isnt in Firfox, there is a 5-10px gap that just gives me the "balls-itch".

Would some one have a looksie at the CSS, and see if you can spot it ?

ha? o_O
I'm REALLY confused mate! :(

Other than classic small explorer pixel errors, I can't see ANY differences! o_O

This is what I see in Firefox 1.07
This is what I see in Internet Explorer 6.029

and these are the differences between the 2 images! o_O (Red is Explorer, Blue is Firefox)

Ok, my FF is ver 1.0.6 and IE is 6.026 and there it is a difference between the two. IE is top positioned with no gap between container and browser egde, but FF, has a aprox. 5px gap up to the edge of the browser.

It isn't much to argue about, but it disturbed me some...But I'm near the state of not caring about it... Hehe, "perfectionistic" (new word ?) isn't something I am, I want it to be darn good, but perfect I can live without for now.

Thanks a bunch for checking it out anyway, analyzerx. In you end there wasn't much to go on about, so I understand your confusion. I'll go update my browsers, eh ?

Patric.

Rofl... here one sit for hours looking for a major snippet-flaw that corrupts the layout, and then it is a top margin in the footer !!!
Hell, sheize, feck, droolelicking... I actually tore my hair ;). And yet again, analyzerx comes to my rescue. I think I have to post something about "and designer is: analyzerx" on my designs in the future :) - ευχαριστώ πολύ , man ;)
