Can you look in snews.php and post the line in question? and tell us in what function line 996 occurs?

If you have installed sNews 1.4 without any modifications to the snews.php file... in other words it is is still in its "stock" format... then when you open the file and look at line 996, you will see this:
Quote
line 995      function login() {
line 996              if ($_SESSION['Logged_In'] != "True") {
So... this means you have a problem with your login function link, right? Now... taking a look at the URL in the error line... it looks to me like you have the snews package nested inside an existing website root. If you already have a login system on that site... and it appears that you do... then you may have a conflict going on between the login functions for your existing site and the sNews login function. Then again... if you haven't reviewed your sNews .htaccess file to ensure the path to your sNews location is correct in there... that may be a consideration. So keep looking.

I will not post any aid on this matter, but point out whats already been pointed out in the other thread you started, curiousEngine... (you've started  two threads, both titled in a...negative way, and not responding in them after that... ?)

Please do keep in mind that this is a friendly, positive place. You post a problem you will get help. That is a promise. It will not lead to a solution to every problem, but help will be there... Now, in order to keep this forum this way and to keep being able to promise help, some responibility falls on each user aswell... And in your particular case this means:

Keep your post titles a tad less negative.

OK ? I for one get the immiediate feeling of not wanting to help (although I would. After all, solucija is the friendliest forum around) when seeing titles like:
Quote
"I am new to sNews... already not appreciating it..."
AND
"bitter taste............. "
So, please... try and do your part in keeping this forum as we want it. If not for any other reason than actually getting people to read the post you made... These titles have a tendancy to be noticed, and then neglected, since they do not... encourage people to actually even read the content of the post. You see the boring title, and then move on to the next more positive thread and read that instead....

Patric.
