« on: November 28, 2006, 07:17:17 pm »

I  need CSS  help with this how/where to change the values from img_background.gif size=(1000x1 pixels)
to this image from "nolimit template" background.gif size=(10x640 pixels).
-------------------
snews1.5RC3 and css from "goflex153"
parts of the the css file looks like this
Code: [Select]
/*****************/
/*   MAIN BODY   */
/*****************/
body {
font-size: 62.5%;
margin: 0em auto;
padding: 0em;
background: url(images/img_background.gif) top center repeat-y;
  font-family: Verdana,Tahoma, Arial,sans-serif;
}

#wrap {
width: 76em;
margin: 0em auto;
}

/**************/
/*   HEADER   */
/**************/
#header-section {
width: 76em;
margin: 0em 0em 0em 0em;
}

#header-background {
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
float: left;
border: none;
margin: 0em 0em 0em 0em;
}

#header-background-right {
width: 76.0em;
float: right;
margin: 0em 0em 0em 0em;
padding: 0em 0em 0em 0em;
border: none;
}

and so on!
-----------------------
code from the "nolimit css"

Code: [Select]
body {
margin:5px 0;
padding:0;
font: 74% Arial, Sans-Serif;
color:#808080;
background-color:#eee;
line-height: 1.4em;
background : #0B1A00 url(background.gif) repeat-x;
}

p {
margin: 0 0 5px 0;
padding: 0;
color: #303030;
background: inherit;
}

hr {
   border: 0;
   height: 1px;
   color: #eee;
   background-color: #eee;
   etc..............
If I modify the 10x640 file in photoshop to 1000x1 it doesnt look good!!

that image is hard coded into the HTML or the PHP page.. its not in the CSS..

If you want to change that header you need to open up the goflex index.php or index.html and find these lines:

copy the header.jpg from the no limt images dir to your goflex img dir and change the above code to below:

Done!

But you will need to do some other adjustments to the left logo as it will be misaligned..

Hope this helps!

Good luck!

Ok! easiest way is to make a new  img_background.gif size=(1000x1 pixels) with colors who fit my
expected style in green( borders with white background)instead of grey borders as in goflex153 template.
Thank you ilocoskid for helping out.
