I would love to see a shopping cart module that give us the flexibility to write our own xhtml code and of course that validates  , i think that this is something really needed, something like this http://www.stemintl.org/publications

it's hard? yes i suppose so!

Ok, I haven't been all to clear 'bout what new things have been added to 1.4, but I do not think that this is one of'em.

I would like some modification that makes it possible for me to upload any pic size to IMG folder and have it, through GD or something, making thumbs of that pic. Not just force the script to set less size but actually making smaller thumbs to be presented at first page. IMG should contain thumbs and the uploaded larger images should be placed in an other folder ie img/big...

I would also like to be able to actually set the size of the thumbs, due to different layouts one's making...

Am I clear in anyway or am I just making a lot of swedish noice here ;)

Patric.

crystal Patric..crystal clear!

there are already code snippets out there that can do this..don't have any examples to hand but I know it..so shouldnt be too difficult for you php experts here to integrate

if you need a gallery for anything..have you tried "Plogger"? XHTML code..its nice!!!

Yes bryn, plogger looks good, but have you tried zenphoto?

just what we need, clean URLs, standards compliant and open source :)

maybe, just maybe... the great guys here can implement something like this as a mod into snews ??? nothing is impossible  ;D

lightning2911 had a thought over at suggestions, I thought it might fot better here in mods section:

Multilanguage tool !

A fiolder to put all language files and just a "thingy" in snews to choose the file your choice.

zenphoto dot what ?? .com is a photogallery, not a app to download... ? Aaaahhh, .org seems to be da one ;)

Oh, and bryn, do you prefer Plogger due to the rss and SEF ? I thought zenphoto looked really neat and as they where, I clearly preferred zenphoto's looks... (one can surley change that in Plogger to fit one's needs, but still.)

Hey Patric

clearly they both have their merits..I happen to be a pretty big fan of rss right now..on anything..makes it so easy for people to get site updates..

zenphoto probably looks better out of the box yes, but both are very configurable by altering the css file, and can be matched to pretty much any site theme that you care to throw at them

so i think it's just a case pf personal preference rather than any particular one being better than the other..and there are others around too, but I don't have the links handy right now..see if I can find some more for you ;D
