Security integration for kcfinder
« on: June 16, 2017, 11:21:28 AM »

Hello,
I would like to test ckeditor + kcfinder (https://kcfinder.sunhater.com/
kcfinder is like ckfinder but it's free with the same functionality  ;)

I have a problem about security option. How to disable upload function when we are not login as Admin ?
Documentation about that say : use Session https://kcfinder.sunhater.com/integrate#session

Code: [Select]
$_SESSION['KCFINDER'] = array(
    'disabled' => false,
    'uploadURL' => "/users/" . $user['username'] . "/upload",
    'uploadDir' = ""
);

Any idea of how to integrate this in sNews php file ?

Many thanks
Stef.

Sorry I cannot help you with this - I have no experience with it.

Thank you Keyrocks,

I think I will change Ckeditor for TinyMCE. I'm actually testing it in local and it's working very well in sNews.
And I find a better free file manger to work with  ;)

I hope TinyMCE worked out for you Stephane. I had used it with several sNews projects in the past and it always worked well for me.
Have you checked out my TinyMCE Add-On Package for sNews 1.7? It even has an sNews skin and is still available for download and the mod instructions are included on the project thread.
