Hello my friends.

Sorry I was very busy with my personal cms, I hope finish it this month.

I publish this template that I will use with my cms.

I know I've some issues, maybe a lot (I'm not a css expert), so any help is great.

Any comments are welcome.

The Breadcrumbs are too high when I look at them in Firefox3.

top: 55px works better.

Nice code. Good job.
What have you done in sNews core to have stamped <time class="date_publish" datetime="2007-10-05"> ???

Thank you jlhaslip.

Bonjour Monsieur Philippe.
"<time>" is a new html 5 tag.
Right now I need to finish my cms+project for a client (as soon as possible).
This new cms is not snews (completly different).

After that I will create a snews fork for html 5

Philippe,
In function articles(), change the infoline case date to look like this (both instances), although you will want to modify it to match your date/time syntax.
Code: [Select]
<?php
case ($tag == 'date'):
echo '<time datetime>'.$a_date_format.'</time>';
break;
?>

@ Fredryk
Hello pal,
yeap, it's almost what I've done:
Code: [Select]
<time datetime>'.strftime("%A %d %B %Y", strtotime($r['date'])).'</time>
but I saw an empty double quote for datetime:
Quote
<time datetime="">Mardi 29 Septembre 2009</time>
I tried to fill this with the information needed according to http://www.w3.org/TR/html5/text-level-semantics.html#attr-time-datetime but still doesn't understand how to fill it. ???

@ Rui why don't you join us in the HTML5 thread above?   ;)

@Philippe
Salut,
I didn't know completely how to print the appropriate value for datetime="" either, which is why I didn't have anything in there, earlier. The following seems to work (with standardized date format) though -- basically printing the date/timestamp without using any particular site date format setting, at least as far as I can see. Here's what I've tested:

Quote
<?php
echo '<time datetime="'.date($r['date']).'">'.$a_date_format.'</time>';
?>

Which in my test site produces this for datetime="":

Quote
<p class="date"><time datetime="2009-10-04 09:56:51">October 04, 2009 (09:56)</time></p>

Bah, we can simplify it. Here:
Code: [Select]
<?php
echo '<time datetime="'.$r['date'].'">'.$a_date_format.'</time>';
?>

Outputs the same thing.
NB: This is on my local MAMP server, using Swedish timezone settings. Haven't tested on live server yet.
