Just on line.
Le boc-notes techno d'un rédacteur...

With errors.
Still don't get why validator says:
Quote
- Character encoding declared at document level
- Error  Line 4, Column 6: Start tag for head seen when head was already open.
<head>
???

Encoding? Hey Mr Validator:
Quote
<meta charset="UTF-8">

Most of the times my wife says I have no head and there I got 2!
(Outputted code shows only one)
And the function <?php head(); ?> does not print<head>/head>: it's into the index file.

And there are those errors on datetime formats. I still don't find in the Core where to change it. ???

So there are some issues but all the rest seems to work fine on my side.

Bonsoir Monsieur Paul
howdee?

It was nice to see you there  ;D

And your visit was usefull
- </script> has been removed  :-[
- moving <meta charset="UTF-8"> into the head section was THE good idea: I now only have 1 head (but still hafl a brain)  ;)
but, despite, I had to specify the usual
Code: [Select]
<meta http-equiv="Content-type" content="text/html;charset=UTF-8" />
For errors in errors in date/time I gonna see what to do later on (I'm too busy for the moment).

Thanks again Paul.

EDITION:
Forgot to say:
- there's a blogroll with some links to snoozers I love (feel free to ask to be added in it)
- there are microformats inside which is quite interesting (on home pages under at the bottom of the article ; on the page article under the title.

See ya there too for comments. :).

Philippe, the W3C validator isn't updated to cope with all aspects of HTML5 yet, possibly because HTML5 is a draft still and not complete.
The correct meta tag (<meta charset="the-charset">) is one that --for what ever reason-- isn't working yet. The HTML5 spec, as far as I know says we should use <meta charset> but that will cause validation error, sadly.

If you absolutely want HTML5 experiments to validate, use the standard XHTML1 meta construction:

Code: [Select]
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=the-charset" />

In 2002 I will be dead, so I can't wait and it has been corrected for the validator.
Thanks for the explanations Freddy. 8)

Does that mean you've been dead for the past 7 years?
