Yeah... I watched that on the national news feed last nite. As George W said... "it was nothing... don't worry about it". He was quoted later as saying that it was the guy's way of exercising his right to free speech and he welcomed that happening in Iraq. As it turns out, the guy was arrested... but I haven't heard if he got his shoes back before being hustled off to jail.

This clip should become a memorable one... does anyone remember way back when Kruscheff (President of Russia) pounded his shoe on a podium? I can't remember whether it was in Russia or some other world meeting location... but it sure got a lot of global media attention when it happened. Kinda shows that we're all human, eh?  ;D

The only one, who has done serious talking about politics so far (Tito), is you. ;)

But I agree with you, no serious politics on the forum.
