How to upgrade from sNews 1.6 to 1.7RC?

I want to upgrade for testing and add my entire database from 1.6 sNews to 1.7RC
How can I do this transfer?

slow answer...
(because we haven't worked the upgrade script yet)
have a look at the readme for both 1.6/1.7.
(or if you have made changes to your db tables, get a sql dump - structure only)
locate the differences, and add them manually to existing tables - using phpmyadmin or similar
create the new table as per 1.7 readme.
add the indexes at bottom of readme sql bit.

and you should be ready to go.. I think. YMMV :)

i wouldn't recommend upgrading a 1.6 database until a stable version is release....but of course, we can't stop you.

a 1.6-1.7 sql upgrade is included in RC2, so will confirmation of correctness

that is, test on test server ;)
