PLEASE READ ***IMPORTANT***
« on: April 03, 2008, 11:36:48 AM »

sNews 1.7RC is NOT suitable for production purposes.
It is being released to wider community for test and feedback purposes only, to attempt to ensure the final release is as secure and trouble free as possible.
Hence, only the one place for posting.

It is requested that interested people try out our new version with the aim of locating as many bugs/issues as possible.

Mods and addons produced for the RC version may not operate in final, and it is our suggestion that any mods only be released when proven against the final and supported version of sNews 1.7

Now, this is a Release Candidate. Which indicates, as Phil points out, NOT for production purposes, hence all things being reported must be pure BUG'S and/or ISSUES which means that sNews do not operate as it should by default. Therefor this:

What is a Issue/Bug?
1) Default snews.php, .htaccess or index.php fails to produce intended result.
2) Default coding produces or is prone to a security situation.

What is NOT a Issue/Bug?
1) You think it could/should be coded differently to produce the same result.
2) Where coding needs to alter to suit your mod/addon (which should not even be made at this point)
