Internet Broadcast site in Internet Explorer
« on: December 28, 2007, 01:44:02 PM »

I have adapted the Internet Broadcast site - it's great and just what I need, but the "Today's Popular Articles and Posts" gets shoved down when viewed on Internet Explorer. I use Firefox myself but it would be great to have the site looking the same on IE. I have opened the demo page and it is the same so I know it isn't any bad code on my part (which was VERY likely)

Thanks,

Mugger

The original demo is on http://www.solucija.com/templates/demo/Internet_Broadcast/

It has the same problems as my site which is on www.michaelseaver.net

Thanks in advance if you help out on this,

The original demo views OK for me on IE7 (not pushed down) while your site has it pushed and the search-block is out of line as well. You must have some conflicting changes in your CSS style-sheet(s)... so I would have a look in there.  :)

You should also check for validation too, your site does not check out:

Mugger,

I didn't see the template you are using on the link you sent....

NOTE - WARNING

The link you sent (michaelseaver.net) - goes to a fresh install of Joomla - with no password set, it's at the setup stage - be careful with that!!! Also, that's Joomla, not sNews.

pear - this thread is 3 years old. It's safe to assume that it's dead (given that the user's site has Joomla installed but not used)...

Thanks FredK, that settles it... I am not posting in the forum - until I've had at least 2 cups of coffee, lmao. Wow, ugh!
