No-one has voted yet. But to show you how much your contribution to the Internet and - of course - your modesty is appreciated, you have been awarded with a special price. From now on you are officially a Lynx designer and you are also allowed to design for screen readers.

If I am allowed to, I vote for Joost's "my blue genes". It's just the cleanest one. I like clean.

Thank you, its a great compliment. I do like 'clean'. At the same time I want a design to be outstanding, if possible.
I see your skills are improving very quickly. 'Doctor' is a mature design and also clean, but that is what you also like.

That is also a great compliment. I must tell you; when I first moved from Flash (which is what I used to do) to trying out web design, I thought I was going to d-i-e.

so, three contestants and two DNF's, +480 views and only three votes cast, score is 1-all... is it just me or does anyone else feel that this competition (albeit fun at times) is thoroughly dead? As in "rigor mortis set in 4 hours ago" dead?

well, that does it for me... :/
(the glory bestowed on whoever is finally declared the Winner is well earned, btw.)

One of the reasons this topic gets a lot of hits but is low in the vote-count on the template designs... me-thinks... may have to do with the topic itself... Why is this section ignored? Perhaps something like... Vote Now... Hot Design Competition Underway might have attraced more vote logging. I guess this is what happens when someone starts a topic for one reason and others change the topic to something that has nothing to do with the first.

Ohhh... and I may as well post a vote. I vote for Joost's Blue Genes entry... clean and blue. :)

Hey, we all gotta things to do, so no posting might as well be late posting ;) And Keyrocks is right one regarding need for separate post and I'd say that some announcement could be appropriate as well to shake things up  :D

And my votes for top three:
 1) Apple green - agentsmith - cool for short notice and a bit of opartiness as well
 2) My blue genes - Joost - all that bluishness and groovy blocks ;)
 3) Shared by Doctor (ens) and Dark templates (sasha)

P.S.
sasha ... that design is stylish but it really isn't for four-eyed guys like me who somehow stubbornly think that texts are for reading :P

My vote goes to Montreal.

I would love to see a contest that goes all out with templates.  Do a half Photoshop mock up contest, then the top 4 (if that many people show up) would go on to create the templates for sNews.  My opinion, there is alot of the lightwieght templates out there already, I would love to see something graphically and styled more.   Just an idea.
