Just an addition to my previous post:
Is it possible to add a function where you can move your category/menu items to a different position (i.e. move the 4th category to the first place in the category-links)?

not within the script I don't think no..but you could possibly do this by altering the category id in the database directly..would involve some fiddling though as you might have to create additional throwaway categories while changing the order

unless somebody else has a better way? :D

Would it be a good feature on the next sNews version? I think it is :)

Ads integration into articles is something we need.. i.e. integration of AdSense or YPN ad codes into articles.. is it possible? the only way at the moment is by posting the ad code within the articles text. Lets say by:

Code: [Select]
<div style="float: right; margin: 3px 3px 3px 3px;">

Ad code or other stuff to merge into snews articles here

</div>

is there any other better way of doing that?

I think that the possibility to post the actual code is sufficient, at least for me, hehe...

you could also [include][/include] the ads text that way..giving the include a class that will show it where you require it?

also..if you place the ads in a rotator script..you have another take on the idea, check Google for 'better anything rotator'..can't lay my hands on the link right now, but I use it myself.

taken further you could include the output of one of the many available ad scripts..like banner excahange etc, but that will also allow text to be shown, then you could have tracking possibilities? ;)

Additional proposals:

2. SPAM thiny on emailform... God, I'm getting so much SPAM from this, that you can't believe... Turning it off for now.

OK, next version...

Some of you have already seen some new admin pics but not all the features.

I can't promise when will the new version be ready but we're close. In fact, just the admin needs to be finished and the dynamic content positioning thing.

YES!  I've been waiting for this feature, even though it seems simple.

@ bionicman - Hey Bi ;)... read the post Luka made just two posts above you and you'll see that this is a question that isn't going to be answered. He's working hard with it and it's near...But to tell exactly when release is going to be is not possible at this time.

·option to enter meta keywords/description at editing
I'd like something like that also - a way for each article/category created to pull the keyword/description info from the database into the meta tags (if I understood you right bryn).

Actually, I could do without that option on edit page for now and wouldn't mind editing the database from phpMyAdmin... just to have this function.
