Ampersand fix?
« on: April 02, 2007, 05:54:37 PM »

Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere but I couldn't find it. Of course when validating XHTML an ampersand must be encoded as & a m p ; (without spaces) or it'll break validation.  So why is it that when I put that into the title field for articles that it will change it back if I open up the article and edit again, a second time?

I would imagine it should keep & a m p ; the same. If it detects a & it should change that to & a m p ; if opened up. Don't you all agree?

Edit:  Although, I can't really say if this is a bug per se. It's more of making sNews more fool-proof.

One year has passed, and I still do not see any mention of this on the forum. Was it ever fixed?  And if so, where?
