That is going to take some work to fully intergrate with sNews.  As far as I'm aware no-one has integrate any bulletin board with sNews.  The BB used here, PunBB, isn't fully intergrated with sNews, but it is made to look like it is.
Your best bet is to delve into the code and have a try.  If you get stuck at certain points, post here and some people may be able to help.

Best of luck :)

Luka is responsible for this site - it is he who added PunBB to look like it is integrated with sNews.

basically, the forum is a "page" of snews.  you just install punbb as a standalone script according to the instructions on their site, and just style the template included with punbb the same as your snews site.  then you make the forum a "page" in your main snews navigation.

thats about as much integration as you can do.

theres an snews forum addon being worked on by bakercad which is progressing nicely, but there is still a lot of work to do and hes only human (meaning it still may be awhile before its released) .  so, you can wait for that addon if you want a truly integrated forum.

Aha, pretty much as those galleries we say is "integrated".. It's basicly a new sub page styled the same way as index, so it looks the way your site is... So instead of haing site structure:

index.php
snews.php
style.css

You have:
FORUMFOLDER (and a "copy" of index styled page here)
index.php
snews.php
style.css

sort of ;)

That's OK... your not the only one who doesn't always get what Patric is saying. :)
Basically, Patric is saying that the sNews and the Forum packages need to run separately from each other... as individual installations, but within the same domain root directory. So... in your domain's root directory, you would have all the sNews files and folders as you would in a normal sNews site. Then, in the same directory, you put a new folder called "forum" and install the forum in that folder. Then you use the same template for the forum as you use for the sNews site (so they look exactly the same) with menu links back to the sNews home page.

It states the reading direction of the page, in this case Left To Right. There's also rtl of course (Right to Left) for Arabic readers for example. And yet another thing that can in some layout situations trip up IE...

Google is your friend! ;) (and yahoo! etc)

This topic answered a lot of my questions, so thanks everyone. I have another one: How easy is it to theme PunBB? (Yes, I know I can find out  :P but would like to know if anyone's had any experiences--good or bad--with it.

Can't be very difficult: The style sheets are commented. Copy the style sheets, rename them janpd24.css, change the style sheets schemes, make janpd24 style default.
