School web sites fail accessibility test :: sNews to be used
« on: December 06, 2006, 02:05:02 AM »

Hi All

A maker of internet content management solutions says it has tested the web sites of the top 124 universities in the nation for how accessible they are to users with disabilities, and the results aren't good: According to the company, only 17 of the 124 schools' sites comply with the World Wide Web Consortium's standards for accessibility.

sNews to be used as a free CMS solution to all schools.

Darn, I registered to prove Bob wrong, but I end up on his side here... Abe, was that a suggestion you made, coz I can't see snews being mentioned either... Would be totally awsome though.

If 86% of UK's "top university" sites do not conform to web standards, give them a copy of sNews and teach them how to use it, then 100% of UK schools will be W3C compliant. Is what Albert's saying, I think.
What I don't get is the Schoolhosting link?
Is sNews included in schoolhosting's packages? :D
